Overview

We are seeking Logistics Coordinator to join our team in Hawaii. The Logistics Coordinator plans and executes the day-to-day logistics required to outfit, relocate, activate, and transition healthcare facilities. Working under the Project Manager, this role coordinates receiving, warehousing, delivery, installation readiness, phased moves, reuse, and disposition activities so that equipment and furnishings arrive safely, are accounted for, and are available when clinical spaces are ready for turnover.

Your role

• Coordinate inbound shipments, receiving appointments, delivery schedules, staging plans, and final deployment of furniture, fixtures, equipment, and supplies.
• Maintain accurate receiving, inventory, chain-of-custody, shortage, damage, and delivery-status records; reconcile records with purchase orders, packing lists, asset data, and project tracking tools.
• Coordinate warehouse operations, including space planning, racking or floor staging, labeling, security, environmental requirements, material handling equipment, and periodic inventory counts.
• Develop and update room-by-room delivery, installation, and move sequencing in coordination with construction turnover, clinical readiness, equipment planning, IT, biomedical engineering, and end users.
• Support phased relocations by planning packing, tagging, loading, transport, unpacking, placement, and post-move reconciliation of reusable assets and supplies.
• Coordinate carriers, installers, manufacturers, riggers, moving companies, and other vendors; confirm access requirements, credentials, safety expectations, delivery windows, and site escorts.
• Inspect shipments and deployment areas; document damage, discrepancies, incomplete deliveries, and access constraints; initiate corrective actions and track resolution to closure.
• Prepare daily or weekly logistics status reports, look-ahead schedules, delivery calendars, inventory summaries, issue logs, and logistics risk updates for the project team.
• Support reuse, surplus, and disposition activities, including identification, segregation, storage, transfer, reutilization, and turn-in documentation in accordance with client and Government requirements.
• Maintain clean, safe, organized staging and work areas and comply with site-specific safety, infection-control, security, and property-control requirements.
• Attend coordination meetings, site walks, and readiness reviews; communicate upcoming logistics needs and constraints early enough to protect the project schedule.
• Perform other project logistics and transition support duties as assigned.

About you

Required Qualifications

• College Degree or technical training in logistics, transition, supply chain, construction, healthcare, or a related field preferred.
• Three or more years of logistics, warehouse, transition, relocation, installation, construction support, healthcare operations, or similar project experience.
• Demonstrated ability to coordinate multiple deliveries, vendors, and priorities in a deadline-driven environment.
• Working knowledge of inventory control, shipping and receiving documentation, material handling, and basic warehouse practices.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, and project tracking or inventory systems.
• Valid driver license and ability to travel, work on site, and occasionally work extended or nonstandard hours to support deliveries and moves.
• Ability to lift and move materials up to 40 pounds and safely work around loading docks, warehouses, and active construction areas.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting healthcare activation, initial outfitting and transition, hospital moves, medical equipment deployment, or occupied-facility renovations.
• Experience with Government property, reutilization, disposition, or Defense Logistics Agency processes.
• Forklift or other material-handling equipment certification, where permitted by the project site.
• Familiarity with safety and occupational health requirements applicable to construction or Government sites, including EM 385 1 1 awareness.

Additional information

Expected compensation range is between $60.00 - $70.00 hourly depending on skills, experience, and geographical location.
