School-Based Speech-Language Pathologist - California, Maryland

Desired Qualifications:

• Holds active Maryland Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) License
• Certificate of Clinical Competence in Speech-Language Pathology (SLP-CCC)
• Successful experience in a school-based environment, with knowledge of best practices for Early Intervention or K-12 students
• Strong collaborative and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Responsibilities Include:

• Provide direct assessment and therapy for students with speech, language, and communication needs
• Participate in IEP meetings and collaborate with multidisciplinary educational teams
• Develop individualized treatment plans based on students' needs
• Collect and maintain accurate service documentation and progress data
• Communicate with families to support carryover of speech and language skills at home
• Embrace flexible approaches to service delivery, adapting to the needs of the student population
