Do you put safety first, build strong relationships with your crew, and enjoy working for an innovative, employee-owned company?If you're an experienced Concrete Foreman looking for an opportunity to lead successful projects while making a lasting impact, we'd love to have you join the Silver Star Construction team.Position SummaryThe Concrete Foreman is responsible for leading and supervising concrete crews while ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This position works closely with Project Managers, Superintendents, engineers, and field personnel to coordinate daily operations and maintain production goals.The ideal candidate is an experienced leader with strong knowledge of concrete construction, excellent communication skills, and a commitment to safety and teamwork.ResponsibilitiesLead and supervise concrete crews on commercial and roadway construction projects.Coordinate daily work assignments and monitor crew productivity.Ensure proper layout, forming, reinforcement, pouring, finishing, and curing of concrete.Read and interpret blueprints, plans, and project specifications.Inspect completed work to ensure compliance with project requirements and quality standards.Schedule labor, equipment, and materials to meet project timelines.Operate and oversee the safe use of concrete tools and equipment.Enforce OSHA regulations and company safety policies.Identify and resolve field issues quickly and efficiently.Maintain accurate daily reports, production records, and material documentation.Communicate project progress, challenges, and scheduling updates with management.Train, mentor, and develop crew members to promote continuous improvement.Qualifications3-5+ years of concrete construction experience.Previous experience leading or supervising construction crews.Strong knowledge of concrete placement, finishing, forming, and construction methods.Ability to read construction plans and specifications.Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Knowledge of OSHA safety regulations and industry best practices.Valid driver's license with a good driving record.Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.Ability to operate construction equipment and concrete-related machinery.Ability to perform physically demanding work in varying weather conditions.Must successfully pass a background check, physical, and drug screening.What You'll LeadAs a Concrete Foreman, you'll regularly conduct and participate in:Daily crew and production meetingsJobsite safety meetingsProject planning and scheduling meetingsQuality control inspectionsCoordination meetings with Project Managers and SuperintendentsCustomer and project update meetings as neededWhy Silver Star Construction?At Silver Star Construction, we're more than a road construction company-we're an employee-owned team committed to building quality infrastructure while investing in our people.
