Title: Head of Water/Wastewater
Location: Lititz, PA (preferred, but may consider elsewhere in the Mid Atlantic Region)
- Summary: Senior Leadership role overseeing all aspects of water and wastewater projects and teams, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations, and driving innovation. You will oversee W-WW team across multiple offices, Mentor and manage the overall direction of the W-WW team and lift and guide the next level of leaders within the team.
Our Client is a full service, multi-discipline engineering, environmental, information technology, and management consulting firm with strength in W-WW. They primarily serve the mid-Atlantic region from six strategically located offices. Responsibilities:
- Leadership: Lead and manage a team of engineers and technicians.
- Project Oversight: Oversee planning, execution, and completion of projects.
- Technical Expertise: Provide guidance on complex issues.
- Regulatory Compliance: Ensure compliance with regulations.
- Innovation: Drive innovation in treatment processes and technologies.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with government agencies, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage the division’s budget.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering required
- Minimum of 15 years of experience
- PE licensure (mandatory)
- Well versed in a combination of water distribution and treatment systems, stormwater or stormwater management, wastewater collection/conveyance, and /or treatment design
- Knowledgeable in water and sewer modeling software as well as AutoCAD 3D
- technical skills, and experience with public and private clients.
- Experience in managing large-scale projects, leading a design team, and mentoring less-experienced team members
