Job Title: Shipper/Receiver Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipper/Receiver to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will manage incoming and outgoing shipments with precision, utilize warehouse management systems, and ensure efficient order fulfillment. This role involves operating warehouse equipment, including forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks. You will be crucial in maintaining inventory accuracy and supporting smooth warehouse operations, including packaging, stocking, and order picking for e-commerce and distribution channels.

Responsibilities

• Accurately manage incoming and outgoing shipments.

• Utilize warehouse management systems for efficient order fulfillment.

• Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, RF scanners, and pallet jacks.

• Maintain inventory accuracy and support smooth warehouse operations.

• Perform packaging, stocking, and order picking for e-commerce and distribution channels.

Essential Skills

• Shipping and receiving experience.

• Proficiency with forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners.

• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS).

• Knowledge of order picking and packing procedures for e-commerce or distribution centers.

• Ability to operate equipment safely following all safety protocols.

• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.

• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities.

• Ability to lift heavy loads (up to 50 pounds) and stand for extended periods.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Previous warehouse experience preferred, especially in shipping and receiving operations.
