Operating Room - Surgical Technologist - $2190 per week.

Experience:

• 36 months of experience with 3 months within the last 12 months.

• 3 months of travel experience is required.

Requirements:

• This role may require floating to additional units and locations

• Travel only, local not allowed. Candidates must live >50 miles from facility to be submitted.

• 6 months gap required between for Staff at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare and no current placement allowed at Program: Staffency Program - ThedaCare.

Additional Details:

Required Skills/Experience:
Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, and General experience required.

Preferred Skills/Experience:
Outpatient GYN, Dental, Retina, and ENT experience preferred.

Special Requests:
Any missed shift must be made up within 2 weeks of the absence.
An interview with the unit manager may not be available prior to offer. If you do not interview with the unit manager, you may interview with a third-party clinical nurse manager.

Unit Details:
Case mix includes Neuro, Ortho, Robotics, General, Outpatient GYN, Dental, Retina, and ENT.
Uses the da Vinci SP robotic surgery system.

Shift & Scheduling:
8-hour variable day/PM shifts: 6am-230pm or 1230pm-9pm.
On-call 1 midweek night and every 4th weekend with a 30-minute response time; holiday call as needed.

Floating Requirements:
Float to all ThedaCare facilities, as needed.

9 days maximum time off

1 Charge/Lead reference required from within the last 3 years

1 Manager/Supervisor reference required from within the last 12 months

Certifications:

• BLS (Basic Life Support)

• CST (Certified Surgical Technologist (NBSTSA)) or the alternative certifications CORST (National Healthcareer Association (NHA)), NCORST (National Healthcare Workers Association (NHWA)), NCST (Healthcare Professionals Competency Testing (HPCT)), NCST (American Allied Health (AAH)), NRCST (National Association for Healthcare Professionals (NAHP)), TS-C (National Center for Competency Testing (NCCT))
