Job Summary

Cuready Healthcare Staffing is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery to support patient care and clinical operations within healthcare facilities. The ideal candidate will deliver safe, high-quality care while collaborating with interdisciplinary care teams and maintaining compliance with facility policies and professional standards.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing labor and delivery.
• Conduct fetal assessments and monitor vital signs of mother and child.
• Implement care plans addressing pregnancy, preeclampsia, diabetes, and preterm labor.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders.
• Collaborate with obstetricians and medical staff during delivery procedures.
• Educate patients and families about postpartum care, ensuring clear communication.

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the State of Georgia.
• Minimum of 2 years experience in labor and delivery.
• Certification in AHA BLS, NRP, and AWHONN required.
• Proficient in managing pregnancy-related conditions such as preeclampsia.
• Strong communication skills with ability to work under pressure.
• Availability to work major and minor holidays as outlined.
