Texas Chiropractic College – Attending Physician Position Summary: Serve as Attending Clinician for the College’s outpatient and student clinics, supervising patient care and instruction of interns. Provide counseling and enforce clinic policies. Essential Functions Direct supervision of assigned interns ensuring efficient clinic operation and high patient care standards. Recommend procedural changes to the Director of Clinics for improved efficiency. Review patients’ charts for completeness and compliance with CCE and state regulations. Act as counselor for interns and enforce clinic policies and regulations. Patient contact and problem management. Direct interns in effective patient treatment and case management. Supervise interns in current diagnostic methods. Perform other clinic programs as assigned by the director. Experience, Education and Training D.C. degree and Texas license to practice chiropractic with three years practice experience. Clinical skills in chiropractic patient care. Personnel management skills. Strong written and verbal communication. Patience, integrity, tact, firmness, sense of fairness, ability to work under stress, and good teamwork skills. Job Conditions 40+ hours per week, Monday–Friday with alternating Saturdays. High stress, one‑to‑one with interns, patients, and staff. Problem solving, clinical conferences with interns and college/clinic management. Busy medical clinic and academic setting. Salary Based on experience.
