NPORT Staffing is seeking compassionate, dependable Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) to support adolescents and adults with developmental disabilities in Residential Independent Programs throughout Brooklyn and Staten Island.
This role offers a rewarding opportunity to provide quality care, promote independence, and make a meaningful impact.
**Position Responsibilities*** Provide direct nursing care and health monitoring for residents.
* Administer medications and treatments as prescribed. * Monitor vital signs and accurately document patient status.
* Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and residential staff.
* Assist with care planning and ensure compliance with healthcare guidelines.
* Support residents in maintaining independence, dignity, and personal goals.
* Respond appropriately to medical concerns and emergencies. **Requirements**
* Active New York State LPN license.
* Experience working with individuals with intellectual or developmental disabilities preferred.
* Strong communication and organizational skills.
* Compassionate, patient, and team-oriented attitude. * Ability to work independently in a residential setting.
