Supports the mission statement, policies and procedures of the Baptist Health System. Completes established competencies for the position within designated introductory period. Other related duties as assigned. Qualifications MINIMUM EDUCATION: Graduate of accredited school of nursing PREFERRED EDUCATION: Bachelors Degree MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: None PREFERRED EXPERIENCE: Completion of peri‑anesthesia or critical care internship/training course REQUIRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE: Possession of current Texas State License for Registered Nurse or currently eligible for state board certification.

PREFERRED CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURE:

Surgery - CNOR Board eligible/certified Post Anesthesia-CPAN Board eligible/certified GI Lab SGNA Board eligible/certified REQUIRED COURSES/COMPLETIONS (e.g., CPR): BLS - required for all areas - Obtained through approved American Heart Association Training or the Military Training Network ACLS required for all areas in Surgery Services and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit PALS- required for Post Anesthesia and must obtain within 6 months of date of hire or transfer into unit Organization Description Baptist Health System has more than 120 years history of caring for our community and making a positive difference.
