Data Analyst

Relate Search has partnered with a global manufacturer to recruit a Data Analyst to join their organization. This role will focus on supporting a critical finance data transformation initiative, working at the intersection of accounting, finance, and data analytics. Reporting into the Controller, the Data Analyst will collaborate cross-functionally with finance and accounting teams to extract, transform, and automate financial data processes between ERP systems and reporting platforms. This individual will play a key role in improving efficiency, reducing manual effort, and ensuring data accuracy within financial reporting workflows. Responsibilities Extract and manipulate financial data from ERP systems. Develop and enhance Excel-based tools, including advanced formulas and macros. Build and optimize ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes to improve efficiency. Map financial data across multiple profit areas with complex relationships to the general ledger. Automate manual workflows to reduce errors and improve reporting timelines. Test, refine, and document processes to ensure scalability and long-term usability. Train internal teams on newly developed tools and processes. Qualifications 3+ years of experience in data analysis, financial analysis, or a related field. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including macros and complex data manipulation. Experience working with ERP systems. Understanding of financial statements, including P&L and balance sheet relationships. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience handling large datasets. Experience with Tagetik (highly preferred). Full-time hours Benefits available after 1 week. Opportunity for contract extension based on project needs.
