Job Details Location: The Pearl, San Antonio, TX 78212. Position Type: Full-Time/Part-Time. Salary: $18.00 – $22.00 per hour. Shift: Any. Hiring Immediately. Executes opening, mid‑shift, and closing duties daily following standard procedures and recipe guidelines. Handles guest concerns, guiding them toward a positive resolution. Performs cash handling, sets up POS drawers, processes comps and voids, and manages deposits during the shift. Acts as a leader among team members, motivating adherence to procedures and a sense of urgency. De‑escalates conflicts between team members and ensures everyone feels heard. Supports management with the inventory process. Maintains food safety priority by performing line checks, monitoring shelf storage and expiration dates, and keeping the restaurant clean. Manages daily prep list and signs off on all prepped items to ensure adherence to specifications and flavor profiles. Enforces a safe environment by using cut gloves, keeping floors clean and dry, and removing obstacles that impede work or dining space. Communicates and delivers a friendly, welcoming, exceptional guest experience. Embraces feedback, is eager to learn, and takes accountability for actions. Proficient in a fast‑paced environment and manages time effectively. Comfortable in all areas of the restaurant, including culinary, hospitality, and guest interaction. Requirements Must be 21 years of age or older. Minimum 2 years of experience as a Shift Leader/Supervisor in a restaurant environment. Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed. Regular exposure to heat and/or humid conditions. Ability to multitask during lunch and dinner rushes in a fluctuating, fast‑paced work environment. Allergen exposure to wheat, nuts, gluten, soy, and milk products on a regular basis. Ability to stand for prolonged periods of time; occasional kneeling required. Ability to lift up to 25 pounds on a regular basis. Ability to handle stressful situations with compassion, composure, and professionalism. Possession of a Food Handler's Certification and comfort working around food. Possession of an Alcoholic Beverage Service Certification and compliance with all regulations. Adequate vision (close, distance, and peripheral). Dexterity to handle tongs, pots/pans, and other equipment.
