Description What You Will Do

• Conduct routine and advanced clinical laboratory assessmentschemistry, hematology, immunology, and other specialized testsaccording to established protocols.
• Evaluate results for precision, identify and resolve discrepancies, and perform both preventative maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Support specimen collection activities and prepare samples for testing as necessary.
• Document all procedures thoroughly, mentor new staff or students, and ensure adherence to lab quality standards.
• Maintain a hygienic and safe work environment while complying with regulatory and accreditation guidelines.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science, or a related allied health degree, with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• ASCP or AMT Board of Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) must be obtained within one year of employment.
• Continuously maintain your certification throughout your tenure.
