Industrial Mechanical Engineer

The job typically requires a bachelor's degree and 6+ years of experience, or equivalent. Researches, plans, and designs mechanical and electromechanical products and systems, and directs and coordinates activities involved in fabrication, operation, application, installation, and repair of mechanical or electromechanical products and systems. Troubleshoots mechanical designs, assemblies and component problems and implements corrective measures. May assign tasks to other mechanical engineers and provides guidance with schedule, cost and specifications. Incumbents define objectives and interpret policies and objectives established by staff senior to the immediate supervisor and determine their effect on design and development requirements. At this level, the incumbent independently plans, designs, and carries out work to be done and often serves as a technical authority Qualifications Education : Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Safety Engineering, or related field. Reading comprehension of technical documents Previous experiences Minimum three years of work experience in automotive development (Hardware or Software), industrial, manufacturing or industrial safety engineering Languages English intermediate 2nd language is recommended Knowledge & Skills Safety and risk assessment analysis Safety functional performance level calculation Safety standards and norms Probability and Statistical Analysis General-purpose IT tools Technical reports creation Functional safety management according ISO26262/ISO13849/IEC62061 Hazard and risk analyses creation Functional and technical safety concepts planning Support in creating safety analyses Define safety devices list Provide Support on calculation of safety functions Performance Level (PL) Moderation and participation at technical reviews Safety proof generation Close cooperation with the project manager, developers and customers Requirements on machineries maintenance activities Requirements on manual instruction structure & developments Knowledge and Experience of declaration of conformity #J-18808-Ljbffr Stellantis
