School Social Worker We are hiring for a great client in Tinley Park, IL. This is an on-site contract opportunity for a School Social Worker who will support students' social, emotional, and behavioral well-being while helping remove barriers to academic success in a school-based setting. Responsibilities Provide individual and group counseling services to students Support students with social-emotional learning, coping strategies, and behavioral needs Conduct social histories and contribute to student evaluations as part of the IEP process Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to support student success Assist in developing and implementing behavior intervention plans and support strategies Connect students and families with community resources and services Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions Support crisis intervention and prevention efforts within the school Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with district and state guidelines Qualifications Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) required Active IL credential in School Social Work preferred Previous experience in a school-based or pediatric setting preferred Strong understanding of social-emotional development and behavioral interventions Knowledge of IEP processes and special education compliance Excellent communication, organization, and collaboration skills Ability to build relationships with students, families, and staff Compassionate, proactive, and student-centered approach #J-18808-Ljbffr Temporary Staffing Professionals
