Job Summary:

Seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide specialized care in the Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The role involves managing patient recovery post-surgery, ensuring safety, and monitoring vital signs until discharge.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patients' post-operative conditions and response to anesthesia.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and document vital signs and recovery progress regularly.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and provide interventions as prescribed to manage pain and discomfort.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure smooth patient handoffs and recovery.
  
  
• 
  Educate patients and families on post-discharge care instructions.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold an active registered nurse license.
  
  
• 
  Be BLS, ACLS, PALS, and NRP certified as applicable.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate experience in post-anesthesia or critical care settings.
  
  
• 
  Maintain proof of MMR and Varicella vaccinations or attest to vaccination status.
  
  
• 
  Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment with minimal supervision.
