Psych Rn Needed For Danvers Ma Detox UnitContract guarantee hours= 72 hours biweekly on all assignments – these guaranteed hours do not include any "on-call" time worked. Psych RN needed for Danvers MA detox unit. 12-hour night shift, 36 hours/week. Weekends as needed. Detox program provides 24-hour nursing care to monitor an individual's withdrawal from alcohol and/or other drugs and alleviate symptoms. Clients are provided with the medical and emotional support that they need during one of the most pivotal stages in the recovery process.Responsibilities are:Records and reports all observed symptoms, reactions to treatments and changes in patients safety statusAdministers medications to patientsCollaborates with team in providing health information and maintains clients' medical recordsResponds to patient care needs/issues and assists patients with activities of daily living, promoting a positive therapeutic environmentAssists with the admitting, discharge and transfer processParticipates in treatment team meetings & assists with development of care plansQualifications:Valid and current Massachusetts licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN)Current certification in CPRExperience with addiction treatment services preferred, but not requiredLocal and travel will be considered for this opening. Must be separated from BILH system for 6 months before returning - perm, per diem or travel.
