Hospital Phlebotomist

Labcorp

Labcorp seeks a Phlebotomist for its Oneonta, Alabama location to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide patient care. The position operates Monday through Friday, 10:00 AM to 6:30 PM, and offers benefits for eligible employees.

Responsibilities

Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests and similar analyses
Enter patient information accurately and maintain specimen logs
Prepare collected specimens for testing and process billing information
Provide customer service and perform administrative duties as needed

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 6 months phlebotomy experience
Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program preferred
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to pass color blindness test
Reliable transportation and clean driving record if applicable
