Job Overview

We are seeking a motivated and bilingual Foreign Medical Graduate or Medical Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess strong medical assisting skills, clinical knowledge, and the ability to communicate effectively in both English and Spanish. Responsibilities

• Assist healthcare providers with patient intake, vital signs, and basic clinical procedures in dermatology, hospital medicine, or urgent care settings.
• Manage electronic health records (EHR/EHR systems) accurately, including documentation of medical histories, medication lists, and treatment plans.
• Perform phlebotomy and medication administration under supervision, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Support medical office operations by scheduling appointments, managing medical records, and coordinating patient flow efficiently.
• Conduct basic physiology and anatomy assessments to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Provide excellent patient service by addressing questions, explaining procedures, and ensuring a positive experience.

Experience

• Must be Bilingual - English / Spanish
• Prior medical office experience with familiarity in dermatology, hospital medicine, or urgent care environments.
• Knowledge of EMR/EHR systems, including electronic health records management and medical documentation standards.
• Experience with inpatient settings or Level I/II trauma centers is advantageous.
• Certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) or equivalent is preferred.
• Background in pharmacology, medication administration, phlebotomy, and vital signs collection is highly desirable.
• Demonstrated understanding of medical terminology, ICD coding, and medical records management.
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective communication with diverse patient populations.
