Registered Nurse - IMC/PCU/Stepdown

Job Summary:

Provide specialized nursing care to patients in medical step-down units, ensuring safe and effective treatment during their recovery. The nurse will monitor patient conditions, administer medications, and collaborate with healthcare teams to optimize patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• 
  Assess patient health status and develop individualized care plans.
  
  
• 
  Administer medications and treatments following approved protocols.
  
  
• 
  Monitor and document patient vital signs and clinical progress.
  
  
• 
  Respond promptly to changes in patient condition and escalate concerns as needed.
  
  
• 
  Collaborate with physicians and healthcare team members to coordinate care.
  
  
• 
  Ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards.
  
  

Qualifications:

• 
  Hold a current Registered Nurse license in the State of Ohio.
  
  
• 
  Possess a minimum of 1 year of critical care or step-down experience.
  
  
• 
  Maintain certification in Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Hold an Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
  
  
• 
  Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
  
  
• 
  Have effective communication and teamwork abilities.
