Heavy Equipment Mechanic

Seeking a full-time Heavy Equipment Mechanic, the technician will provide maintenance and repair for various heavy equipment and aerial lifts at our Lafayette, LA facility, utilizing technology to streamline work orders and diagnostics while ensuring safety and efficiency. Key responsibilities Perform maintenance and repair on complex mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and diesel systems for rental and customer equipment Create, assign, and monitor work orders using technology to track service intervals and diagnose issues Assist in training lower-level technicians and maintain accurate electronic documentation of work performed Required qualifications High School diploma; Trade school certificate preferred Must own tools applicable to the position Advanced mechanical aptitude with extensive knowledge of construction equipment and schematics Experience in field service, maintenance, and repair preferred Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks associated with the role
