As a Maintenance Worker, you will: Assist with repairing storm drain cave-ins. Assist with placing and finishing concrete and removing sidewalks, curbs, and gutters. Assist with asphalt pavement repairs. Support vegetation control, debris removal, and truck loading. Direct traffic using established flagging procedures. Perform manual labor to support maintenance and construction activities. Assist with cleaning and digging drainage ditches and cleaning and repairing stormwater structures. Support emergency response efforts, including clearing roads after hurricanes and controlling snow and ice. Participate in training to develop construction and equipment operation skills that support career progression and personal growth. What you bring: A successful Maintenance Worker will have basic knowledge of construction practices and tools, the ability to use hand tools and perform manual labor, and a willingness to learn.
