Field Service Technician – Press Brakes

Location: Peachtree City, GA
Relocation: Available – Candidate must relocate to and live in Peachtree City, GA
Travel: Up to 95% throughout North America after Year 1
S alary: $60k-$85k+ Great benefits(401k with 10% matching, 100% healthcare covered by the company etc)

Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced Press Brake Field Service Technician to join a growing team supporting advanced Press Brake and sheet metal fabrication equipment.

This is the first hire for a new Press Brake service team , so we are specifically looking for someone with strong hands-on expertise working with Press Brakes. The ideal candidate will be able to take ownership of Press Brake installations, commissioning, troubleshooting, repairs, and customer training.

During the first year, the majority of the work will be onsite in Peachtree City, GA , providing extensive training and hands-on learning with the company's new Press Brake equipment. As the Press Brake business grows, the position will transition to approximately 95% travel throughout North America .

The technician will also support folding machine field service work as needed while the Press Brake business ramps up.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, commission, troubleshoot, repair, and maintain Press Brake systems .
• Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC/control-related issues .
• Perform field service and troubleshooting on Press Brake and sheet metal fabrication equipment.
• Support the installation, commissioning, and service of folding machines as needed.
• Train customers on machine operation, troubleshooting, maintenance, and best practices.
• Provide technical support to customers by phone and in the field.
• Complete detailed service reports and document work performed.
• Work closely with engineering and internal teams to resolve technical issues.
• Maintain a high level of customer service and professionalism while representing the company at customer locations.
• Travel extensively throughout North America once the initial training period is complete.

Requirements

• 5+ years of field service experience working with machine tools, industrial equipment, or similar machinery.
• Strong hands-on experience with Press Brakes is highly preferred .
• Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills.
• Experience troubleshooting hydraulic, pneumatic, and CNC/control systems .
• Experience with Delem and/or ESA controls is preferred.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical schematics and technical documentation.
• Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability and willingness to travel extensively throughout North America.
• Must be willing to relocate to and live in Peachtree City, GA .
• Ability to work independently and manage field service assignments with minimal supervision.
