Bankruptcy Specialist

Recruiting Solutions is seeking Bankruptcy Specialists for a financial services company in Greenville, South Carolina . This position offers a starting pay of $20 to $25 per hour, depending on experience . Bilingual candidates who speak Spanish and English are preferred, although English-only candidates are also encouraged to apply.


This position works Monday through Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.

• Administer a portfolio of loans secured by automobiles or other collateral.
• Prepare and file proofs of claim and transfers of claim in bankruptcy cases.
• Enter and maintain accurate payment, contract, and account information in internal systems.
• Process correspondence and documents related to accounts, bankruptcy cases, and collateral.
• Handle inbound and outbound calls with attorneys, bankruptcy trustees, and consumers when appropriate.
• Access Chapter 13 trustee websites to verify payments and claim information.
• Monitor accounts for payments according to bankruptcy plans.
• Contact trustees, debtors' attorneys, or consumers to help facilitate timely payments.
• Research accounts using PACER, trustee websites, and internal systems.
• Review discharged bankruptcy cases to determine lien-release requirements and accounting adjustments.
• Analyze accounts for potential collateral repossession and assist with managing the repossession process.
• Prepare and file reaffirmation agreements, motions for relief from automatic stay, and plan objections when necessary.
• Maintain detailed notes regarding account activity and actions taken.
• Follow up regularly to ensure all deadlines are met.
• Assist with special projects as assigned.

• Previous bankruptcy, collections, loan servicing, or financial services experience is preferred.
• Bilingual Spanish and English skills are preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Ability to manage multiple accounts, responsibilities, and deadlines.
• Good computer and internet research skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• College degree preferred but not required.
