You'll partner with Relationship Managers to deliver sound credit solutions, strengthen client relationships, and identify opportunities that help businesses succeed. This role offers the opportunity to deepen your commercial banking expertise while building meaningful client partnerships and advancing your career.Key AccountabilitiesManage a portfolio of commercial banking relationships while ensuring compliance with credit policies, regulatory requirements, and risk standards.Analyze financial statements and credit requests to evaluate risk, recommend loan structures, and support sound lending decisions.Partner with Relationship Managers to strengthen client relationships, deliver exceptional service, and support portfolio growth.Monitor portfolio performance, loan repayment activity, and client financial health to proactively manage credit quality.Identify opportunities to expand client relationships through referrals for treasury management, private banking, capital markets, and other banking solutions.Coordinate loan renewals, due diligence, and credit documentation by working closely with clients, credit teams, and internal business partners.Support new business development through financial analysis, opportunity assessments, and participation in the loan approval process.Represent Associated Bank by participating in community and business organizations to build relationships and strengthen the bank's presence in the market.Education & ExperienceRequiredBachelor's degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.5+ years of experience in Commercial Banking, Commercial Real Estate, Corporate Banking, Specialized Banking, or Credit Approval.5+ years of experience underwriting and managing complex commercial credit relationships.Valid driver's license (where applicable) and reliable transportation.Preferred2+ years of sales or business development experience.2+ years of formal commercial credit training.Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) designation.Why You'll Love Working HereAt Associated Bank, you'll work alongside experienced professionals in a collaborative environment that values relationship building, continuous learning, and professional growth.
