Job Summary:

We are seeking a reliable and compassionate  Unit Assistant to join our team at our Skilled Nursing Facility. The ideal candidate will assist residents with transportation to and from medical appointments and provide support with light duties within the facility when not escorting residents.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with light duties such as:

  • Passing water to residents

  • Making beds

  • Answering call bells and assisting with resident needs

  • Maintain professional and courteous interactions with residents, families, and staff

  • Follow all safety protocols and infection control guidelines

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in a healthcare or long-term care setting preferred

• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

• Ability to safely assist residents with mobility needs

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Must be able to pass background check and required health screenings
