Material Handler- Paint Vat

We are looking for a Material Handler-Paint Vat located in Tulsa, OK . Operate equipment safely and efficiently to avoid spills or damage to equipment or products being transported. Understand the mechanics of the assigned unit. Ensure that material is properly stacked or tiered. Operate a chop saw for test bars and move material to location designated on material tag. Have knowledge of all materials, whether in process of manufacture or finished, used in the assigned department. Check hoist, spreader, and spreader chains daily; hook and unhook material for crane operator. Keep machines stocked with material; move material to forwarding zone and tag it for other departments. Maintain spacer bars in orderly condition. Constantly observe material for rust and straightness. Make written reports to supervisor about heat condition, defective materials, and mixed heats. Be capable of safely and efficiently driving any type of truck, yard truck crane, or truck‑tractor with trailer or winch. Have good knowledge of proper and safe use of binders, chains, winch lines, snatch blocks, side booms, or gin poles. Ensure that the assigned unit or equipment is not neglected or abused. Report all needed repairs to supervisor. Help load, unload, and check any material that is received or shipped by the company. Maintain a clean and orderly work area. Minimum Qualifications: Two‑year technical degree or equivalent education and/or experience. Valid driver's license in the state of residence required. Physical Demands: Must be able to lift and carry 50 lbs regularly, and 100 lbs occasionally. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. The employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee is frequently required to use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms. Employee is required to occasionally walk in customer field locations which may include inclines, uneven surfaces, and a variety of weather conditions. Employee must be able to regularly bend, stoop, crawl, lay down, twist and push. Employee is required to wear appropriate personal protective equipment including but not limited to shoes/boots, hard hats, or respirators.
