Physical Therapist Assistant - Full Time

Position Overview Seeking a Physical Therapy Assistant to provide skilled education, treatment, and interventions under a physician's plan of care in a home health setting. Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, communicate updates, and ensure patient safety and well-being. Key Responsibilities Deliver direct physical therapy according to therapist and physician instructions. Update patients and caregivers on the care plan and treatment progress. Perform treatments and procedures to promote pain relief and functional recovery. Observe, document, and report patient conditions and responses to treatments. Educate patients and caregivers on device use and rehabilitation techniques. Coordinate with team members to discuss and adjust patient care plans. Plan and communicate discharge instructions and post-treatment care. Maintain documentation, records, and ensure confidentiality in compliance with standards. Participate in in-service training and adhere to professional conduct. Qualifications & Skills Graduate from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program. Current, unrestricted state license.
