Contract | 13-Week Assignment | Full-Time | Onsite | Night Shift (3x12 Hours, 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM) | Every Other Weekend Required

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to Labor and Delivery patients in a high-risk OB unit, including inductions and high-risk antepartum cases
• Manage patient care across LDR rooms, OB Triage, antepartum, OR suites, and PACU as needed
• Conduct and support OB triage assessments, including third-trimester testing patients and incoming triage volume
• Float to like units within the facility or affiliate locations as needed to meet staffing requirements
• Participate in charge nurse responsibilities or be willing to train in a charge nurse capacity
• Comply with holiday coverage requirements, working 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year)

Required Qualifications

• Active Alaska Registered Nurse (RN) license (pending license accepted for submission; must be in hand prior to offer)
• Minimum 1 year of Labor and Delivery nursing experience
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• AWHONN Intermediate and Advanced Fetal Monitoring certification
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification
• Experience with Epic electronic health records

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior charge nurse experience in a Labor and Delivery or OB setting
• Experience in a high-volume, high-risk OB environment with antepartum and triage patient populations
• Familiarity with Magnet facility standards and practices
