Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Operating Room Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day 3x12-Hour Hours per Shift: 10:30 - 23:00 Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid state license required Certifications: BCLS required Must-Have: Must have experience in orthopedics, joint replacement, general surgery, gynecology, urology, and spine procedures. Description: In the Main Operating Room. First-timers not accepted. On-call required. Call requirements include 2 primary weekday calls and 2 secondary weekday calls. Weekend call requirements include 2 primary weekend calls and 2 secondary weekend calls. RTO must be included at the time of submission. Daily census includes a mixed patient population. Patient age groups include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. Staffing is supported by various interdisciplinary services. The number of operating rooms is 13. Travel experience required. No pending licenses accepted. All travelers are expected to float as needed. Must commit to working 3 of 5 holidays. References required covering 1 year of experience within the last 3 years. Must disclose license or background hits at the time of submission. LA fire card required within the last 30 days. Travel compliance is mandatory. Modules are required to be completed pre-start and annually. Time spent on modules must be self-reported. Completion is recorded in transcripts.
