About the Clinician‘s WorkdayThe physician associate will deliver comprehensive full-scope cardiothoracic surgery coverage with responsibilities including first assist procedures, ICU patient management, and daily patient rounds. The position operates within a busy cardiothoracic surgery program requiring coverage across day shifts, night shifts, and 24-hour shifts with call responsibilities as assigned. The clinician will manage inpatient care, operating room procedures, and maintain prescriptive authority throughout the assignment. Travel and lodging expenses are covered by the facility, and Florida medical licensure is preferred for this locum tenens position.
