SME Network Engineer

Location Chantilly, VA Role Join our growing team supporting customer missions as a SME Network Engineer in Chantilly, Virginia . Required Qualifications Experience and expertise working with commercial cloud service providers (eg. Google Cloud, Azure, AWS) building out VPCs with Linux VMs, configuring them as network appliances (eg. Linux as a router) and locking them down to meet cyber security standards. Experience configuring and hardening Linux OS in both cloud and physical environments. Experience configuring and hardening network gear to include firewalls, switches, routers, IPS, etc. Experience and expertise working with commercial VPNs Experience working with commercial messaging applications (CMA) and Android tablet devices. Ability to work independently to troubleshoot and resolve issues after hours and on weekends, ie. Call in support. Desired Qualifications Experience and expertise deploying CNGA internet network infrastructure with a thorough understanding of the customer’s mission Working knowledge and expertise using the customer’s core appliances and services to include their networks Working knowledge and experience with the customer’s core networks BCore is proud to be an equal opportunity workplace.
