Management Trainee

Overview As a Management Trainee, you will participate in our Operations Management Trainee Program. This entry‑level training position includes a 16‑week intensive program designed to prepare you for an initial leadership or supervisory role in operations. Responsibilities Learn the basic principles of the transportation industry and efficient cross‑dock operations. Develop effective leadership communication and relationship‑building skills. Complete the leadership training program, including guided and independent study. Interface with Support Center and Service Center associates to complete various aspects of the training program daily. Accompany and observe an Account Manager during customer sales calls. Accompany drivers on local delivery routes to understand the freight delivery process on occasion. Upon completion of the program, relocate to another facility for your first leadership role in Operations. Qualifications Hold a Bachelor’s Degree in Transportation or Logistics, or have at least two years of related work experience. Maintain an acceptable driving history that aligns with company standards. Be flexible and ready to relocate as needed. Possess strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as effective listening abilities. Maintain a professional demeanor and appearance at all times. Have basic computer skills and a very strong work ethic. Compensation Average Annual Starting Pay: $50,000-$60,000 (pay may vary based on location, experience, and qualifications).
