Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver

Our Wholesale Warehouse is looking to add a Warehouse Associate/Backup Driver to our Shreveport location.
Warehouse Tasks:
- Unload incoming shipments and verify product condition, quantity, and accuracy.
- Pick and stage tires and merchandise according to invoices or pick tickets.
- Load outbound shipments securely and accurately for delivery.
- Operate warehouse equipment (forklift, pallet jack, cherry picker) following certification and safety protocols.
- Inspect loads for damage, shortages, or overages and report discrepancies.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse and dock areas.
- Follow all safety procedures while handling materials weighing up to 75100 lbs.
Driver Tasks:
- Safely operate 16'28' box trucks for customer deliveries
- Provide professional and courteous customer service during deliveries
- Perform pre-trip inspections and report any mechanical issues immediately
- Complete required driver logs, vehicle records, and paperwork
- Make COD collections when applicable and follow proper cash handling procedures
- Assist with route information and customer follow-ups as needed
- Ensure safe operation and constant care of company vehicles

Requirements
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Current chauffeur's license
- Ability to lift 100+ lbs.
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Minimum 1 year of verifiable driving experience and 23 years of age
- Good vehicle safety record (no more than 3 violations in the last 3 years)
- Ability to work in a fast paced, customer service-oriented environment
- Attention to detail
- Commitment to being on time
- High School diploma or equivalent
