Under the direction of the Director of CPI, the selected candidate’s duties will include but are not limited to:• Providing medical and psychiatric input and consultation to CPI OMH initiatives; • Participating in and leading the development of online learning modules and playing a key role in supporting CPI’s Educational Unit; • Collaborating with New York State Psychiatric Institute and other OMH facilities and programs; • Serving as part of the CPI Leadership Team; • Serving as a member of the ACT Institute Team. Minimum Qualifications : Candidates from outside or within State Service can be considered for hire under the Hiring for Emergency Limited Placement – Statewide (HELPS) program if they have:Psychiatrist 2: License and current registration to practice medicine in New York State, and certification in psychiatry approved by the ABPN.ORCandidates from within State Service can be considered for a competitive class appointment if they have one year of permanent competitive or 55-b/55-c service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
