Advanced Practitioner - CVICU PRN position in beautiful Charleston, SC

Seeking experienced NP or PA for CVICU PRN positions Roper St. Francis Healthcare is recruiting Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants with CVICU experience! PRN positions Roper St. Francis Healthcare is private, not-for-profit Under the supervision of the sponsoring physician, the Cardiovascular ICU Advanced Practitioner assists in coordinating and providing care to patients along the continuum of hospitalization. This position primarily works in an inpatient, intensive care unit-based position, with hospital exposure during code blue team participation and consultations. Minimum Qualifications: Education: Graduate of a Physician Assistant (PA) or Nurse Practitioner (NP) program accredited by an appropriate agency recognized by the South Carolina State Board of Medical Examiners (SCSBME). Experience: Experience as a PA or NP in a hospital setting required. Strongly prefer at least 2 years in cardiovascular intensive care, working under the direction/supervision of cardiac surgeon, cardiologist or cardiac intensivist. Licensure/Certification: Must be licensed and/or certified by appropriate agencies as required by state law. Must be licensed by SCSBME. Must have current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider and ACLS Provider Cards.
