By joining our team, you are helping to provide an experience to our stakeholders that delivers on our promises.Kemper is adding to the team and seeking an experienced Technical Business Systems Analyst to support the Kemper Auto Run/Grow portfolio.ResponsibilitiesPerform systems analysis and development of business requirements for problems, projects and enhancementsConduct release management activities for Kemper Auto portfolioLead complex change management activities, including:Training (e.g., training plans and materials, training sessions)Process improvements and efficienciesDocumentation support (e.g., operational procedures, troubleshooting guides)Production readiness activities (e.g., war room, deployment support and checkout, user support)Research and develop functional design documentsResponsible for requirements management with Kemper’s AMS partnersLiaison with business for IT Run/Grow portfolio coordinationProvide inputs for both application testing and user acceptance testingProvide analysis for production recovery effortsAchieve and maintain subject matter expertise across Kemper Auto’s strategic applications and servicesMaintain knowledge of business functionality and technical platforms as business climate and technology platforms evolveComply with and support all corporate, department and security policies and proceduresSupport high level estimation and design during IdeationCoordinate production activities such as:Triage, troubleshootingData analysisProduct and compliance requestsQualificationsMinimum of 5 years of technical business systems analyst experience requiredRelease and change management experienceExpert knowledge of Property & Casualty Insurance a plusNon-standard Auto Insurance experience preferredCurrent expertise using JIRA/ConfluenceMust be well organized, detail oriented, able to multi-task, and reliableProficient with business analysis tasks including documentation of workflows, use cases, business rules, user stories, acceptance criteria and associated data analysisStrong testing and production support background is neededAdvanced knowledge of system development lifecycle activitiesExpertise in requirements management and modeling tools (JIRA, Confluence, Visio, XMLSpy, Adobe XD, ServiceNow).Strong understanding of SDLC, Agile, and Waterfall methodologies.Capable of using SQL and of interpreting data for business validation.Expertise in post-production monitoring and support (troubleshooting, data analysis, defect triage)Education equivalent to a college degree in an information technology related or business administration related discipline, supplemented by insurance or computer-related courses/knowledge, or the equivalent in related work experienceServiceNow and AWS knowledge is a plus.Experience with Guidewire BillingCenter or PolicyCenter preferredThis position works onsite at the Kemper officeKemper is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
