We are seeking a dedicated Special Education Teacher for a full-time opportunity in Marion, SC for the 2026–2027 school year .

Position Details

This priority opening is for an Self-Contained classroom serving K4–5th grade students. The caseload consists of approximately 13 students with the support of two classroom assistants .

Qualifications

Active South Carolina Special Education certification, Multi-categorical preferred
Experience in self-contained settings preferred
Strong collaboration and classroom management skills
Ability to provide individualized instruction and support

Responsibilities

Develop and implement IEPs
Provide direct and supplemental instruction
Monitor student progress and maintain documentation
Collaborate with school staff and families
Ensure compliance with state and district special education guidelines
