Key Responsibilities of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Provide critical care and assess patient needs in an emergency setting
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure patient safety and quality care
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
• Participate in crisis management and emergency response situations

Requirements of the RN - ER/ED - Emergency Room/Emergency Department

• Current RN license
• Minimum 2 years of experience in an emergency room setting
• ACLS, PALS certifications required
• Crisis Management Training Certification administered by CPI or Northwell (or equivalent)
• BLS preferred
