Delivery Driver

Position: Parts/Warehouse Delivery Classification: Non-Exempt Hours: 8:00 am to 5:00 pm

Summary: Responsible for delivering parts to customers in a timely manner and assisting mechanics with needed parts.

Essential Functions:

1. Ensure all parts are put into their proper place.
2. Assist mechanics by providing appropriate parts.
3. Make deliveries to customers in a timely manner.
4. Obey traffic laws and follow established traffic and transportation procedures.
5. Inspect and maintain vehicle cleanliness, supplies and equipment to ensure vehicles are in proper working condition.
6. Report on any mechanical issues encountered with vehicles.
7. Present bills, receipts and collect payments for goods delivered.
8. Utilize forklift to load and unload trucks and place parts into inventory.
9. Assist with evaluating inventory levels and returns.
10. Protect company's value by keeping information confidential.
11. Comply with federal, state, and company policies, procedures and regulations.
12. Local travel required.

1. Perform all other duties as assigned.

Education Requirements:

• High School diploma (or equivalent)

Experience:

• Six months to one year
• Clean driving record and valid license

Physical Requirements:

• Physical demands include ability to stand, walk and sit for long periods, reaching and occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds.
• Physical demands include ability to work in noisy environments with occasional fumes.
