Kenneth Cole is a global fashion brand that designs, markets, and distributes high-quality apparel, footwear, and accessories. We work closely with 22 domestic and 12 international licensing partners to create modern, functional, and stylish products that inspire individuals to look good and make a positive impact in the world.

ROLE OVERVIEW:

In this hands‑on role, Kenneth Cole’s Strategic Partnerships Intern will be working closely with the Chief Commercial Officer and the SPT Team on specific projects that impact our strategic partners (licensees) at KCP. From a categorical standpoint, there is a focus on fashion apparel, fashion accessories, beauty, and home. The intern should be motivated with a positive, enthusiastic attitude and a strong work ethic. The intern must be extremely detail‑oriented and an organized team player who is eager to learn and help the division.

HOW YOU WORK:

Support CCO and SPT Team with partner management, including but not limited to initiatives around product development, product design, pricing, distribution tracking, retailer management, merchandising, creative, marketing, and more Support management of business development tracker and white space analysis Develop prospecting lists and business plan analysis Research strategic product categories and support competitive market research analysis to assess competition, distribution, and positioning Support research on competitor brands and their presence within local markets Support sample processes and photo shoot preparation Participate in partner status meetings Support Team with gathering partner growth plans, forecasts, business reviews, royalty reports, and more Support CCO with contract reviews and negotiations

QUALIFICATIONS:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) Highly organized team player with great attention to detail Demonstrates adaptability and the ability to pivot as priorities shift Interest in business, fashion, and licensing A collaborative mindset with the ability to take feedback and run with it

HOW THE JOB WORKS:

The Kenneth Cole internship program runs for 10 weeks. Interns must be available to work a minimum of 3 days a week from 9 AM to 6 PM, though this may vary depending on department needs.

PROGRAM WAGES:

At Kenneth Cole Productions, interns receive an hourly rate of $17/hr. Candidates can be freshmen, sophomores, juniors, or seniors enrolled in an accredited college with a history of strong academic achievement.
