Travel Nurse RN - PCU - Progressive Care Unit - $2,172 per week

Job Summary Travel Nurse RN PCU - Progressive Care Unit assignment in South Bend, Indiana. Start Date: May 18, 2026. Duration: 13 weeks. 36 hours per week, 12‑hour night shifts. Employment Type: Travel. Responsibilities Provide critical care nursing in the PCU/stepdown unit. Perform cardiac telemetry monitoring and interpretation of dysrhythmias. Manage cardiac drips (no titration) and assist with other instrumentation. Ensure patient stability and coordinate transitions to appropriate units. Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, documentation, and quality improvement activities. Qualifications Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid state license (or pending license accepted if active prior to start). Minimum 1 year of experience in PCU/stepdown; preferred 2 years. First‑time travelers accepted. Experience with telemetry, cardiac/stroke care, and cardiac drip management. Certifications: ACLS, BCLS, NIHSS. Proficiency with the Cerner electronic health record. COVID‑19 and flu vaccinations required unless medically or religiously exempt. Resides outside a 50‑mile radius of South Bend; local candidates not accepted.
