Details Acute care hospital setting within a PT unit Day shift schedule, 5x8-hour shifts from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM 13-week contract Requirements Current state PT license required; license required if applicable Two years of direct patient physical therapy care and treatment experience preferred Experience in a rehabilitation hospital setting preferred Current BLS/CPR certification preferred Two professional references required for consideration Copy of driver's license and Social Security card required for consideration Additional Information Responsibilities include evaluating functional needs, developing individualized treatment plans, and conducting therapy within defined standards of care Assesses and modifies treatment effectiveness on an ongoing basis, with regular documentation updates and discharge planning Communicates with patients, families, and caregivers to address educational and cultural needs to maximize care outcomes Coordinates and supervises therapy staff as part of the care team American Traveler Job ID #P-710622.
