Production Supervisor

Laundry SupervisorCore Linen Services is a leader in hospital and hospitality laundry processing services around the country. Capital, based in Miami, FL.Working as a Laundry Supervisor, you are responsible for ensuring departmental efficiencies in a safe working environment and that orders to the customers are filled and delivered as accurately and efficiently as possible while being aware of needs and conditions of additional plant departments to assist in planning laundry productivity to provide the highest possible level of service.Key Responsibilities:Prepares work schedules for production employees in assigned department(s)Provides daily work assignmentsMonitors and insures productivity records are posted; counsels, coaches, and provides corrective action for employees as necessaryMonitors and reports/records daily fill ratesEnsures a safe work environment for employeesInforms Operations Manager or Production Manager of any problematic situations related to laundry operationsProvides direct supervision to Laundry departments and plant employees as assignedPreferred Qualifications:Ability to work with colleagues in playing a role in team building; must possess adequate interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to identify a problem, propose solutions, and have the ability to execute possible solutions to problem-solveAbility to make decisions regarding production, distribution, and schedulingAbility to multi-task and establish prioritiesExhibit initiative, sense of urgency, responsibility, flexibility, and leadershipAssociate's Degree in a related field preferredAt least 1 to 3 years combined operations/supervisory experience requiredProficient in the use of Windows based office software including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint and OutlookCore Linen Services is an equal opportunity employer.
