Job Title: Lead, Program Scheduler Job Code: 45080 Job Location: Huntsville, AL Job Schedule: 9/80 9/80: Employees work 9 out of every 14 days- totaling 80 hours worked- and have every other Friday off Job Description: L3Harris is seeking a Lead, Program Scheduler to join the trusted disrupter on Munitions Acceleration Council (MAC) Program. As a Lead, Program Scheduler, you will interface with all elements of the program team to develop and support regular maintenance of the program integrated master schedule (IMS). This individual will ensure major projects and program schedules are integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality. Essential Functions: Responsible for the end-to-end life cycle of planning and schedule management. Serve as the point of contact for internal and external customer communication and status. Responsible for oversight of performance to program budgets and communicating necessary adjustments to responsible Cost Account Managers. Develop integrated master schedules using SOW and WBS. Performs time-phased analyses, critical path verification and schedule risk assessments to assure the capability of the program to meet their commitments. Resolve schedule conflicts, develop and implement work-around strategies and tactical alternatives. Perform regular analysis of program schedules to evaluate program and enterprise-wide resource needs through the integration of all program schedules. Travel up to 25%. Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and minimum 9 years of prior relevant program scheduler experience; or a Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related program scheduler experience; or in lieu of a degree, a minimum of 13 years of prior related program scheduler experience. Preferred Additional Skills: Experience creating and/or maintaining an Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and any Supporting Schedules on assigned projects/programs. Experience with Earned Value Management (EVM) including Cost or Schedule Integration. Experience in maintaining schedules across product life cycle, including critical path analysis and schedule risk analysis. Experience in MS Project and Milestones Professional. Knowledge of engineering processes, principles, and practices; knowledge of risk management concepts and risk analysis related to master schedules. Knowledge of DoD EVMS Guidelines (ANSI-748C), Integrated Product and Process Development (IPPD), and Integrated Program Management Report (IPMR).
