Project Manager

We are seeking a Squad Leader to provide program management oversight and lead the execution of a large-scale wireless technology upgrade program for a major financial services client across North America. This role is responsible for driving team performance, managing program schedules, and ensuring successful delivery of network cutover activities.


Responsibilities:

1. Serve as the Team Leader responsible for overall oversight and execution of wireless technology upgrade implementations across assigned sites.
2. Schedule, facilitate, and lead team meetings to track status, surface risks, and drive accountability across program workstreams.
3. Manage the Program Schedule and tactical execution, tracking Plan-to-Actuals and ensuring milestones are met on time.
4. Minimize network downtime during transitions; manage pre-cutover preparation for AP upgrades and troubleshoot issues during implementation.
5. Manage, coordinate, and oversee Change Orders and Change Event actions in alignment with client change management processes.
6. Interface with the Field Technology team responsible for physical installation of hardware and cabling, and oversee proper configuration of new network devices.
7. Oversee development of 'As Is' documentation, Detailed Design Documentation, and Run Books/Operating Procedures associated with the implementation program.
8. Work non-standard and after-hours schedules during periods of active network upgrade activity as required.
9. Travel to client sites approximately 1-2 times per quarter. Requirements:
10. Program/Project Management Experience: Proven experience managing large-scale technology implementation programs, including schedule management, risk identification, and stakeholder coordination. PMP or equivalent certification preferred.
11. Technical Proficiency: Strong working knowledge of enterprise wireless networking, including familiarity with access point upgrades, network cutover processes, and configuration validation. Experience with Cisco wireless technologies is a plus.
12. Leadership and Team Management: Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional teams, run effective status meetings, and drive accountability across engineering, operations, and field teams.
13. Change Management: Experience managing Change Orders and Change Events within structured IT environments, including documentation and approval workflows.
14. Communication and Client Engagement: Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interface with client stakeholders, field technicians, and internal program teams.
15. Documentation: Ability to oversee creation of run books, design documentation, and operational procedures to support program delivery and knowledge transfer.
