Staff Accountant/Tax Preparer

Job Description
Handle bookkeeping, monthly close, bank reconciliations, and financial statements in Quickbooks Online.
Clean up and reconcile client books ahead of tax season.
Work directly with clients to gather documents, answer questions, and explain results.
Quickbooks Online ProAdvisor certification or willingness to recertify within 30 days.
Prepare federal and state individual income tax returns, Form 1040 and supporting schedules.
Prepare corporate and pass-through returns, including 1120, 1120S and 1065 returns
2+ years of experience preparing both individual and business tax returns.
Support payroll and sales tax compliance.
Draft replies to IRS and state tax notices.
Bachelor's degree in accounting
Strong attention to detail and the ability to manage several client deadlines at once.
