General Laborer – Johnstown, PA

Join a CHS client in Johnstown that specializes in processing and recycling rare earth metals for use in the defense and automotive industries. This hands-on role offers a variety of warehouse and production responsibilities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, making it a great opportunity for individuals who enjoy physical work and being part of a team.

Shift/Hours: Monday-Friday, 7a-3:30p

Pay: $18.00–$20.00/hour, depending on experience

Temp-to-Hire

What You'll Do:

• Load scrap metal into processing equipment.
• Unload incoming trucks and assist with material handling.
• Scan bills of lading and verify shipping orders.
• Sort metal materials into designated containers.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
• Assist with general warehouse and production tasks as needed.

What We're Looking For:

• Previous manufacturing, warehouse, or general labor experience preferred.
• Ability to lift and move materials throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in an industrial environment.
• Basic computer skills for scanning and documentation.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow work instructions.
• Dependable with a strong work ethic and willingness to work as part of a team.

• Loading and Unloading Vehicles
• Experience in a Manufacturing Environment
