The Cove Golf Course at The Lodge of Four Seasons is seeking a friendly, dependable, and service-oriented Golf Shop Attendant to join our Golf Operations team! Qualified candidates will thrive in a hospitality environment and be highly focused on providing superior service. This position is responsible for assisting with the daily operations of the golf shop while providing excellent customer service to members and guests. The Golf Shop Attendant will help manage tee times, retail sales, and ensure golfers have a positive and organized experience before and after their round. Primary responsibilities include:
- Greeting members and guests in a professional and welcoming manner
- Assisting customers with tee time check-in and reservations
- Processing retail sales, green fees, cart fees, and merchandise transactions using the point-of-sale system
- Answering phone calls and assisting guests with questions regarding tee times, rates, and course information
- Maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the golf shop
- Assisting with merchandising, stocking, and displaying golf shop merchandise
- Communicating with outside services staff to ensure smooth daily operations
- Assisting with tournament and outing operations as needed
- Providing accurate information regarding golf course policies, events, and promotions
Qualifications include:
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Basic computer and cash handling skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Golf knowledge preferred but not required
- Availability to work weekends, holidays, and flexible shifts
