Our culture is people-focused, data-driven, and accountable to our guests and clients.Summary: The Executive Housekeeper will supervise and coordinate the activities of room attendants, house attendants, public area cleaners, and floor supervisors. They are responsible for managing and directing the day-to-day operations of all housekeeping and laundry functions. The executive Housekeeper participates in and enforces quality assurance for the Housekeeping Department.Duties & Responsibilities:Have an eye for detail and the ability to effectively deal with guests, other departments, and housekeeping staffObtain a list of vacant rooms to be cleaned immediately and a list of prospective checkouts or discharges to prepare work assignments for staffAssign team members their duties and inspect their work for quality assurancePrepare and distribute the room assignment sheet and floor keysMaintain clear and efficient communication and coordination with the front office and other departments of the hotelSchedule the cleaning of room carpets, upholstery, and draperies as needed, along with deep cleaning projects and window cleaningsSchedule cleaning for lobby area, public restrooms, telephone areas, hallways, entrances, and elevatorsSchedule periodic major cleaning projects including carpet shampooing, walls and baseboards, and elevator doors and tracksSchedule cleaning of all meeting rooms after a completed functionComplete the inventory for cleaning supplies and linenInvestigate concerns regarding housekeeping service and equipment and take corrective actionLead the housekeeping team in training, coaching, counseling, and enforce the hotel's standard operating proceduresEnsure guest rooms are properly secured and that proper key control procedures are utilized by the housekeeping staffAdvise desk clerk of rooms ready for occupancyReward employees who use their empowerment to meet or exceed guest expectationsPrint all housekeeping-related reports and traces from the Property Management SystemAssist in controlling expenses by the housekeeping departmentConfirm all housekeeping staff members have arrived or find substitutes for absent employeesRequirementsRequirementsQualifications:2- or 4-year college degree in Hospitality Management or a related field2+ years’ experience in housekeeping or rooms or Retail Management.Supervisory experience in hospitality and hotelsDetail-orientedAbility and experience leading and training a teamBenefits:Competitive salary: $76,500 per year plus bonus potentialsAnnual review with increase potential401k program with company matchAdditional benefits may be availableJoin Us in Creating Exceptional Experiences!
